Faculty of Chemical Engineering Technology (FTKK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the International Conference of Chemical Science, Engineering and Technology 2021 (iCo-CSET 2021) on 6 -7 September 2021 .

 

The aim is to provide a platform to professionals, researchers, academicians and industries to share and generate interest in cutting-edge applications, challenges and issues in the area of chemical, science, engineering and technology. Two special keynote speakers will be invited to share their ideas on the current trend in these emerging and important topics. The first speaker is Prof. Dr. Yamashita Yoshiyuki from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT). He is a professor in process system engineering and head of process systems engineering laboratory at TUAT. His research interests are in process control, process monitoring, artificial intelligence, process systems engineering and smart manufacturing. 

 

The second keynote speaker is Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Rozaimah Sheikh Abdullah from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, UKM. She is a professor in chemical engineering and researcher in the Research Centre for Sustainable Process Technology (CESPRO), UKM. Her research specializations are water and wastewater treatment system, phytoremediation, waste audit and management, and artificial intelligence-based control in wastewater treatment. 

 

Faculty of Chemical Engineering Technology (FTKK) has been established in 2020, offering more than eight bachelor's degree programs. The vision of this faculty is to become an internationally competitive Faculty of Engineering Technology.
